Toy meme

Via [personal profile] merfilly. Comments on that post mentioned a lot of toys that were left out of the list, e.g. Lincoln Logs.

Bold if you had one.
Underline if you ever played with one or knew someone who did.
Italicize if you've never heard of it.

I'm honestly surprised you hadn't heard of Weebles --if I said "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down" would that jog any memory?

And shrinky-dinks were this bizarre plastic stuff that you painted, then put in a hot oven to make them shrink up to a more permanent hard form. Supposedly for decorative purposes, I think.

Hey, they still make those! http://www.shrinkydinks.com/

As a side note, I so wish I didn't know what Bratz are. Horrid role models for little girls, ugh.

I remember the Weebles motto now that you mention it, but I can't bring any image to mind.

I should have underlined shrinky dinks; I knew people who had them but I didn't.

I'm not impressed with Bratz either.

I never owned Weebles, and acan't remember if I ever saw any (I would have been too old to play with them but my sibs or kids I babysat-- for might have had them.)

In any case I remember the ads and even had Weeble-ad inspired dreams! They were like Fisher-Price people, only egg-shaped.
