Upon seeing this ad for Matrix Reloaded, this occurred to me:

Free your mind.
Conform!
If you conform, you don't have to use your mind to figure out what to do.
So your mind is free!

One easy way to conform is to go see Matrix Reloaded!

Hummmmmmmm, could be. They could be using "free your mind" in the En Vogue sense. I have noticed, on occasion, a distressing anti-intellectual meme in popular culture. Think of Star Wars "use the Force Luke". Which always felt like stop thinking, just relax, things will work out. Maybe it's just me...

I can never see anything that says "Free your mind" without following it up in my own mind with "...and your ass will follow." I'm not sure what that says about me, and I'm trying hard not to think about it.

We saw the Matrix Reloaded trailer tonight when we went to see XMen (some bad storytelling choices in that movie I thought) and it isn't what got my juices flowing, but it does look to be a good movie summer. I want to see the sequel to Legally Blonde and the car chase one. Love car chases and pretty explosions.

Good movie summer

I liked X2, but there were a few places where I couldn't suspend disbelief.

I want to see Matrix Reloaded, T3, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I think there's another one, but I forget.

Speaking of pretty explosions, I saw John Woo's A Better Tomorrow tonight. Got it from the local library, along with John Waters's Female Trouble. Someone in library acquisitions is delightfully twisted, methinks.

Oh, right League was another one we saw previews for that looked really good. Also a new Harrison Ford cop movie, the trailer for which had me giggling so hard Jordin asked if I was ok.

Heh. I haven't seen any previews for the Harrison Ford movie, and in general I find him annoying, so that's not on my list unless it gets good reviews.
