The one I can't believe I haven't seen?
Rocky, I guess.

The one I really wish I had skipped?
Independence Day. Ptui ptui ptui.

Best flick?
My favorite of the above is Fantasia. If you want "best" in an "objective" sense, Alfred Hitchcock was covered in my film class as an auteur, and Godfather was also covered as one of the greatest films.

The one I actually *enjoyed* the most?
My favorite of the above is Fantasia.

The most over-hyped?
Relative to its quality? Toss-up between Star Wars: Episode I and Matrix: Reloaded.

The movie I should have seen just because everyone else has?
Forrest Gump, but I Don't Do™ movies about developmentally disabled people, for personal reasons. And I don't see movies just because everyone else has, anyway.

The movie that surprised me the most for its inclusion?
The Robe - I've never even heard of it.

I liked 70s Irwin Allen disaster movies, and I didn't see ID's resemblance to them, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Gee, I think I've seen all of them except Rocky, Duel in the Sun, House of Wax and Sergeant York. That's kind of scary really.

The Robe was a horrible telling of the classic Lloyd C. Douglas novel about the life of the Roman soldier who was in charge of the Crucifixion. I loved the book as a child and thought the movie didn't get it at all.

There are only about 3 on that list that I haven't seen... I must be a bit of a pack-rat after trying very hard not to be. ;-)
