This article is making the Internet rounds very quickly.:)

Not only does money not buy happiness--becoming a paraplegic doesn't change whether you are happy or not, either. (According to one study I read.)

That's mentioned in the article, yeah.

I believe it. My mobility has declined in recent years but except for some periods of depression brought on by apnea, my mood has mostly stayed in the same range.

I think that's part of the whole setpoint theory of mood management.
