iTunes survey meme

from wordweaverlynn

How many total songs?
3439 songs, 10.2 days, 16.97 GB

Sort by song title - first and last?
"¿Come Again? Toucan" - Jefferson Airplane
"Ziggy Stardust" - David Bowie

Sort by time - first and last?
"Interlude: Memory" - 4 seconds - Janet Jackson, Velvet Rope
"Dinosaurs Before Dark" - 40 mins 47 secs - Mary Pope Osborne Magic Treehouse Collection (I gather this is children's lit. I think it came already loaded on my computer at some point. I don't know what it is and have never listened to it.)

Sort by Album - first and last?
!Viva el amor! - Pretenders
Zenyatta Mondatta - Police
(Actually, a number of my iTunes items have no album listed, and those show up at the end).

Top five played songs?
13 - "Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night" - Dylan Thomas (poem)
13 - "There Is No Rose of Swych Vertu" - Medieval Bæbes (This is from a CD of "medieval-inspired" but not particularly authentic music called The Rose. Someone gave it to me. I didn't like the rest of the CD and I gave it away.)
11 - "Devoiko, Mari, Khubava" - Kitka (Kitka is a local-to-SF group that performs traditional Bulgarian music. A lot like the better-known "Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares". I heard of Kitka first, though - don't know if they have actually been around for longer.)
9 - "Helplessly Hoping" - CSNY
9 - "The Wind Cries Mary" - Jimi Hendrix
9 - "Bron-Yr-Aur" - Led Zeppelin
All of the above are much-played because they are on a playlist I made when my cat Selkie died.
9 - "The Borderline" - Sharon Apple (music from an anime series whose name escapes me at the moment)
