My folks' house is on the market

They did an absolutely lovely job of staging it. *Love* the description. Being so focused on house hunting these days if was in my price range I'd be there in a second!

I've never heard of this activity as "staging". I just love real estate lingo.

Those California prices sure are freaky! Sitting over here in a northeast backwater I almost choked when I saw the amount.

"staging": taking out all the owner's furniture and decorations and replacing them with other furniture and decorations.

And the prices, yeah, it's like living in an alternate universe.
