[SF Bay Area locals] Peninsula Humane Society Adopt-a-thon

PHS/SPCA is holding an Adopt-a-thon this Saturday, June 30.

Event highlights:

· PHS/SPCA’s Center for Compassion is located at 1450 Rollins Rd., Burlingame (ample, free parking in our visitor lot on Edwards Ct.)
· Approximately 45 dogs, 70 cats/kittens and 25 small animals and exotic pets available for adoption
· Adopt-a-thon will run from 11 am- 9 pm (extending regular closing by three hours).
· No adoption fee for all Chihuahuas and Chi mixes; we’re actually giving $10 to all adopters in the form of “fun bucks” to spend in our Furchandise retail store.
· For all other dogs, cats and small animals, we’re allowing visitors to choose their own adoption fee.
· Throughout Saturday’s adopt-a-thon, we’ll be accepting donated items (clean clothes, housewares and books) for our Pick of the Litter thrift store.
· This marks our 4th annual adopt-a-thon; in past years, our single day adoption totals ranged from 60-70 animals placed into new loving homes
